Actually, I've got another project and if everything goes well, (I cross my fingers...) I will be the next owner of another amazing Ovation in 2 weeks!! I can't tell you which model today because I'm a little bit superstitious... (Only 4 persons knows this project). That's why I can't buy your 1537 and you can't imagine how i'm sad because your price is really low for such a fabulous guitar!! "Choisir, c'est se priver..." It's the french philosophical thought of the day... :D J ;)

I just like to make sure some of these excellent guitars get bid on quickly to arouse the passion in those (like Jeff) who should own one. Besides, if his reserve was less than my max bid the guitar wouldn't still be "reserve not met" Mark, it should not be difficult to pull up past info on the OFC board and show the wife how this guitar usually sells for over 1000 and everyone who owns one feels they are easily worth as much as a $2000 guitar. I believe Jeff W has declared his 1537 to sound better than the U681T....and you know what rave reveiws that guitar has gotten (for over $1700 I might add). Should be an easy sell to the wife! ;)

We took a logic class together in college and I had to help her out. Don't know if she would have made it without me. At least that's what I tell everybody. I thought when someone turned around in church yesterday and told me I had an excellent voice, my wife would soften up about the 1537. Maybe it's because I bought 3 Ovations and an amp since she tried to buy me a 1537 for my birthday. I just need Christmas to come early.

I made a pretty good commitment for this one so..... (One of Stephens offerings would be a great alternative should the interest be great though.) BluesSailor aka 01Bluemiata

I would think that if whoever got it was smart, they would send it back to the mothership and have it restored to "like new" condition. Even if it cost $500, you would still have a rare, great guitar for under $1200.
