6-on-a-side tuners on an acoustic
Humbucker(s) on a strat or a tele can never look right either.
Agreed :D

Hi Fred,

That's a good one. We get them in with all kinds of boxes, our guys won't hurt it that's for sure.

John,

I received the call tag yesterday. Thanks again for that. I got a box from Guitar Center. I asked for one that would fit 9158 case... oh the shame....
Keep an eye out for this one. Hopefully with the "proper markings" no one will run it over with a forklift when it gets there.

That is good!

Next item I send to John should have "Victoria's Secret" on it somewhere so it will go to the head of the line!

Well, The this is the first weekend without her. Going to Guitar Center crossed my mind, but that's like going to a strip club after your wife leaves you (maybe that's why she left in the first place?), you get to look at all the "pretties", but you aint takin any of 'em home to momma.... Well a good friend saw me in my hour of need, and "took me to church" instead. He loaned me a very special 1687-8. It's not "Holy Grail Slot-Head", but it might as well be. Besides, No one would just let me borrow a slot-head

Thanks Tony!!

I've played that guitar and it has a very wonderful sound.

Tony is generous with his guitar.

#36 is home.

Nothing remarkable to say other than what has already been said. Mine had no major issues, just needed the neck re-set, which was turned around in one day, just before they shut down the factory for 2 weeks. Thanks again John!! (He also sent me a really cool "OFC/Ovation Protoype Trinket" (some assembly required).

Maybe I'd feel different if I had borrowed a holy-grail slothead, #47 re-issue or the OFC guitar (when they're available), but for now this is THE ONE guitar for me. :D :D :D

Well, Noah.....does that mean you like it?

I couldn't be sure with all the smiley faces interrupting my reading!

I will be sending my/your Adamas II to the factory as soon as they reconvene along with my '05 collectors.

:D :D I think so Stephen :D :D

I've just been opening the case, inhaling those polymer fumes deeply, closing the case...
and when I come to, I do it again.

:D :D It's been like this for about a week now... :D :D

The binding has multiple yellow spots (6-7) at various parts. I have tried in vain to remove the spots with all the remedies suggested by Dave and other OFC members without success.

It really spoils a beautiful looking guitar so I have decided to contact the mothership to make arrangements to get the binding spotting corrected.

That would be better than "UTerus". In fact, anything would be...

"about the Uterus as well."

And has never referred to it by any other name. I think he has female reproductive organ name issues

I have christened mine the Adamas Adamare...

Granted it is a verb from the Latin from whence we have Adamas, means 'to take a liking to.'

Course, I had a very low C in my two years of high school Latin.
