Location: Tampa, FL | I'm going to list my 6591 on ebay.
I tried taking some pictures of it and was generally unsatisfied. Can anyone offer some suggestions for ebay ads. Mostly I think I am flash photography challenged. Ended up with a bunch of unwanted reflections. Should I go with the highest resolution I can, get a clear shot and crop as desired? Or just shoot to the desired image size (500x500 or 1600x1200) and post it?
Any and all help is appreciated.

Location: Minden, Nebraska | Try non-flash pictures outdoors in sunlight. Or try taking indoor pictures from angles in which the light reflects away from you. |

Great detail with a brightly overcast sky (pronounced Summer) and 150' trees to block the low angled Sun appearances. Also, I could take your pictures for you.
Otherwise, diffuse or bounce the flash when indoors. Think stealth, avoid direct 90 degree angles for reflections.
Outdoors, early morning in FLA should work. Put a nice brick wall or welltended garden in the background.
Other favorite backdrops are bookcases and CD collections where we can read your titles.
Avoid cars with grass grown over them as well! |

Location: Houston, Texas | Try using natural reflected light (not direct sunlight) and as small an aperture as possible for greater depth of field. Use whatever shutter speed is needed for the amount of light, sometimes as much as several seconds and use a tripod and the cameras self-timer to avoid all camera shake. |

Location: Evansville,IN | I used to diffuse camera flash with a piece of nylon stocking over the flash. Spreads the light over the area and doesn't let it reflect back. Sounds weird, but it works. :D |

Location: Carle Place, NY | I've found that posting shots taken both indoors and outdooors works very well. I just set a guitar stand in a sunny spot on my back lawn in mid-afternoon. The best thing about digital photography is that you can check out how the pictures came out right away. Try shooting the photo with the sun at your back, but at a slight angle-not directly behind you.
For indoor shots, set up as many lamps as you can. I use a mechanics light also. I sometimes find that the pictures come out better without the flash.
I have a simple 2.0 mega camera with digital zoom that I set on medium resolution. |
