Deluxe Balladeer

And some thought my "slothead" was overpriced!

The deal is that it say those three magic words, 'Patent Applied For.' 'Patent Applied For' means Gibson. Gibson means overpriced. This guitar has a 'PAF' sticker, therefore it should be overpriced. QED.

I love logical fallacies.

The price is off by 1 decimel place. Must have been a typo. All the paper Bloomfield and New Hartford labels say PAF. Nice guitar, but the bridge has been replaced. I suspect it started life as a natural finish and cracked like hell. The owner had it referbushed in sunburst with a new style bridge as well. Dave

Good guess Dave. I'd agree with you. It might be an original s/b though. If it was and had the original bridge it would be worth more but I think you got it right.
Cholloway, your guitar IS worth 10K so don't worry about it!

For the asking price, there should be three times as many photos, and they should be much better quality...for starters...

I agree. The photos are a joke. If the guy had taken the time and effort to make some decent shots of this guitar, I'd be jumping to place my bid right now. In fact I'd probably Buy-It-Now.

Seriously, do you think it's possible the guy really made a decimal place mistake. It just seems out of this ballpark. Overpriced isn't even the word for it.
