| looking at cases it seems that mid-bowl and deep bowl fit in the same case.
Is that so? |

Boy, wouldn't it be great if there was an "Official" spokesperson from the company to answer questions like this? ...click
Nick, I see you've got a Collings. My OM-42 has earned the spot right next to my chair in the guitar room. (Slothead #35 with GHS gypsey strings is right next to it) |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Deep-bowl will NOT fit in a mid-bowl case.....ask the person who learned the hard way. The cheaper case is mid-bowl only, the more expensive case is mid- and deep-bowl both.

Location: SoCal | I now have two of the 8158 v. the 9158 cases...a deep bowl Adamas I came in one, the other was a deep bowl Custom Elite. Both guitars fit fine.
On the Ovation site, they show the 9158 and 8158 cases as medium and deep bowls. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | I believe there is/was a cheaper case than the 8158...but I'm not up on the model number. That is the one I'm referring to. It DOES NOT fit a deep-bowl. Mid-bowl only.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I have what I thought was a case for both mid and deep bowl. Came with the mid-bowl Collector's edition, but my deep bowls fit in it. It's a 9158. |
