I'm trying to help Glenn Hess out with this Deacon. I've found that half of his tone pot is dead. This is a dual stacked 250 Kohm potentiometer. Anybody know where I can find one of these? It's going need to be pretty specific as afr as form factor goes so I kind of need adn 'exact' part. Can anyone help me out here? If I can get this part, I believe this patient can be released back into the wild.

Thanks all

Mr. Bigger-the-gob Woddy now that's another story... a little longer to tell.

Usually the 750K section is linear and the 250K section is log. NOTE the values!

I didn't look at the physical part itself. I was going by the schematic MWoody provided me. I was wondering about the values. The 250K was pretty clear on the copy the 750K had the Xerox optical edit thing going on so it looked like /50K. I assumed (always dangerous) it was a 2.

Thanks BruDev, that'll keep me out of a little trouble here.

BruDev has the most complete info on these boards I've been able to find.. there are 4 different revisions w/schematics and values of components etc in his gallery....

Thanks Again Rick. And thanks to all here for the help and wealth of knowledge and info here.

God Bless,

Glenn

Probably runs through a MIL SPEC or other unclassified drawing

The parts can also be found on Vietnam era helicopters!
