They're basically a bunch of NY session musicians (and bandmembers from the Letterman and Conan O'Brien bands) that periodically get together to perform the Beatles' music live - but they're not the typical "Beatles Tribute Band". They don't dress up/wear wigs/speak(sing) with phony accents. They don't just try to recreate the simple, early "Beatlemania" tunes. Much like symphony musicians who just get together to do Mozart string quartets, these guys perform the latter day uber-produced, Beatles compositions as accurately as possible. Their shows are often comprised of performing ENTIRE albums (Sgt.Pepper/AbbeyRoad/WhiteAlbum) in sequence. These guys were live on the SternShow this morning and they sounded AWESOME!! Evidently, bandmembers often jump around to two or three different instruments over the couse of one song (wish I could've "seen" it!). They played "StrawberryFieldsForever", "TomorrowNeverKnows", and "IAmTheWalrus" . . . . PERFECTLY! Granted there is a lot of digital sampling done via keyboards, but the samples are of their OWN playing on instruments that were painstakingly hunted down to be as accurate as the original. They were also augmented by a live trumpeter/saxophonist/cellist. The result was stunning. www.fabfaux.com

If they ever need to verify that it's really her body, that guitar could come in handy. And if I'm not mistaken, that's the original Daisy Rock guitar she's holding.
