The time has come to part with some relics that I have owned for years. Among the treasures is a 1972 Glen Cambell, 1127-4. Serial# 013580
Just curious as to what this model may be worth.
I bought it new in '72 and it is in excellent condition having seen light use. No fret wear at all and no scratches. Mnor repair to dog ear on headstock. Repair is not visible from front, very minor.I have the original hardshell case also.

These days I always use Ebay as a good source for the value of things. They have a "completed listings" part of advanced search to get past item pricing.
Ebay has one 1968 Glen Campbell which sold for a little over $500 in good condition. There is also a 1981 model for auction starting at $350. Somewhere between the two might be the right place for yours.
Any shallow-bowl cutaway models to clear out?

Thanks for your help.
No other Ovations on hand.
1967 Gibson ES335TDC and a 1969 Dobro have definitely appreciated. They will go. |
