...for those of us that use picks, I though I would pass this along...
For the most part I use Tortex picks in the medium to heavy range, but I'v been using a Dunlop 1mm Big Stubby and really like it. |

Location: Vermont USA | When I use a pick I mostly use a Tortex .73 and up, I have used a stubby, but I found a Clayton pick the Ultem real nice feel and sound. For the most part I finger pick a little Travis and strum, Just a renegade kind of guy. :cool:

Location: Midland, MI | I prefer the 1mm Jim Dunlop Jazz Stubby in red Lexan. Nice and crisp, hardly bendy at all. The only problem is that after a while they end up with a 'hook' on the tip that catches on the strings. Not good. But, I have a bag of them, so I just toss 'em. |

Location: Midland, MI | Yeah, I've found that if I flip them, I end up getting my thumb onto the string after the pick attack. Which, when playing blues/rock through a distorted amp/pedal, can give some very interesting harmonics (sort of a Rev. Billy Gibbons thing), but it's wholly inappropriate for things like 'Satin Doll.' :) |
