Location: Phoenix AZ | Check out this ukulele. It's made by the same custom luthier that made my baritone. Look at the fretboard inlays, and MAN what a cool halloween bridge. Duane Heilman is the builder and he dones some amazing artistic things. Dave

Here we go again. No, I'm staying away from holiday specific instruments. If the Duane baritone lives up to expectations (how could it not), I would love to commission him to build a matching concert size for me. Yeah, 3rd mortgage might not be too far fetched of an idea right about now.

...notice the floating bridge on the Banjuke...not unlike regular banjos
and similar to Ced's traditional uke... |

Location: Phoenix AZ | A banjouke (and a banjo) has to have a floating bridge, otherwise you could not change the head. Everyone I have ever know with a banjo or banjouke has drawn a little mark in sharpie on the head to indicate where the brige has to go. Btw, I know the guy who bought this halloween banjouke. He's only slightly more crazy abut all things ukulele than I am. Dave |

I missed the fact that this guy was playing in town this last weekend. Had a Co-worker tell me about this extraordinary Uke Player and I was "I missed it"!
