I am fixing a preacher for my friend (very cool guitar btw). The toggle for the pickup select went bad. Normally just look at wires and attach same way.Not this time, Switch is off guitar completely and not sure if switch in case is the one that is correct. do i need a special toggle or will a 3 way on/on/on work fine? There are 4 wires to connect. 2 yellows and 2 reds.Im sure there is a jumper in there somewhere too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Samova is selling one with a whole garage drawer full of other items. Jerome' has a website with the schematic and parts description. I recently replaced the very same switch in my PD with one I received from Customer Service - which means they most likely have some in stock. So (Dorothy), the answer is here all along. Go to the serch and find those people or let them drop in!

Joined: September 2005 Posts: 4 | Wow that was a superfast response!!! Thanks MWoody and Brudev for answering. I picked up the switch today. Thanks for the schematic Brudev, but i am kinda schematic illiterate.Shoulda payed attn in class. :) I dont think i need a pic posted. maby if you could just tell me what goes where. here is the prongs numbered on the bottom of switch, 1 -2- 3 __ __ __ __ __ __ 4 -5- 6 I have 4 wires,1 red coming from volume pot 1 (closest to neck),1 red coming from an output jack,1 yellow coming from other volume pot, and 1 yellow coming from output jack. and im sure there has to be a jumper in there somewhere. i was thinking pickups to 4 and 6 and outputs to 1 and 3. then what about middle position? Thanks again in advance for the help. The more i play around with this axe the more i want one. I really like the stereo feature.

The pic makes if look like a typical stain but it is really almost a washed out plum color. Check out other photos in my OFC Gallery
