Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | Hey, just an FYI (and please forgive me if it's old news).
I rented, out of curiousity, the John McLaughlin, Larry Coryell and Paco De Lucia "Meeting of the Spirits" concert on DVD from Netflix. It is a live, Valentines Day show from 1979.
I'm not familiar with who was who, but two of the guys played Ovations through the whole show, the other played a classical style nylon string guitar. The Ovations looked like a custom legend and a legend, but I'm not sure.
Great guitar playing, really impressive, but not quite my bag to pursue further. Still, I'm glad I saw it. I've read about these guys, but haven't heard them. Damn, they can play!
Just thought I'd mention it for OFC Netflix members who might be interested. There are SO many concerts available on Netflix (as I've mentioned here before) and it's cool to be able to check out a variety of styles of music. |

Location: South Jersey | I had an ephiphany once as well. It had a sticker on it that said "Gibson", but it wasn't fooling anybody. |
