Location: South of most, North of few | On the solid body Viper, I figured out the two screws on either side of the bridge control the bridge height, but what is the screw in the center of the back do? Also, any setup tips would be appreciated. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | the angle. You want it about flat, the base plat that everything is mounted on. |

Location: South of most, North of few | Thanks Beal! Why would you want to adjust the angle of the base anyway? |

Location: Scotland | The Ovation bridge sits on 2 posts and is anchored through the back with a third bolt. This bolt affects how the back of the bridge sits in the bridge rout. There is an optimum position for this which is as Bill said, just about flat. Adjust it low and changing strings is a pain, too high and it looks crap and too me feels uncomfortable on my right hand. I don't think it was supposed to be "adjustable" it just is as a result of the way it's put together. |
