Wow -what a price for a 1778-LX. I had one of the very first guitars (1778-LX-BCB) in the UK and paid £1400. No one had heard of it - now they have.

It's a stonking guitar and I have recently tried Takamines and Taylors , but I prefer the LX.

However, a Martin D-28 is in sight for its sound and the fact that I hate playing the LX standing up due to body pretrusions.

I have taken out all the shims and had it set up by a professional and boy was it worth it.

Have fun

Piers
