I have seen them perfrom twice - along time ago - and there were no acoustics used -despite the great sound they got on the albums. How did Sholtz and company come to flip ovations upside down and turn them into spaceships?

I think the picture was in the "History of Ovation Guitars" book. Tom Scholz told the story of recording "More Than A Feeling" in Guitar World Acoustic magazine a year or so ago.....he recorded the song back in Mass. with a cheap Yamaha 12-string while Brad Delp was in Calif. talking to the label.....who had just bought him a Taylor(!!!) 12-string. Edit: It wasn't Brad Delp playing the Adamas, it was Barry Goudreau.... Roger

If it gives you any Peace of Mind, I think that pic is Smokin' I think you're just mad because Barry is playing a country G and not your favorite, with the high D note.
