My local music store of choice just recieved a Q598 12 string....wait...was it an Q859??? Whatever. I was able to do the A/B thing with the Q and a 12 string Custom Legend LX. My hobbit like hands would rather play a 6 string but it was fun to test drive these two fine examples.
Prefference? Hard to say. The CL 12 was louder and the Q seemed fuller and more piano-like.
You know we say it's all ice cream but it's harder than that. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry....easy to describe the difference. Not so with the Q and the CL 12. I just had a great time playing them.
