Like so many other ebay items the "lower 48 states" takes me out of the bidding. This guitar is even in Washington, so it's as close to Alaska as it gets without being here but they still won't ship. I'm going to send him an email and see if he will ship USPS to Alaska.

I'm waiting on an email back from him but will send him another to see if he would be agreeable to meet you 1/2 way or something. I am continually amazed at the generosity and helpfullness of the people on this board. I'll get back to you when I find out a little more. The auction has 6 more days... Does anyone know what the average price these have been going for in the past year?

I'm going to keep my eye on this one for a few more days and see where it goes. I think the $750. BIN is a little high for the narrow neck. With shipping to Alaska the price would be too high and I would keep looking...

In other words, if you have to have it, then you pay a premium. Several 1 11/16 necks sold last year for $750. Is it worth it? Yep. Course, if some copy-cat lists another this week, both auctions will suffer.
