Location: East Wenatchee, WA | I am seeing the Adamas Phosphur/Bronze lights on ebay for about $36 including shipping for 10 sets. Seems like a pretty good deal. I currently use Elixirs Nanoweb lights because although they get looking ugly, they keep their sound a long time. Are the Adamas string worth the investment? I assume they are probably just manufactured by one of the big boys anyway with their name put on them. |

Light gauge PHB.
I have been through just about every string out there...and in my opinion nothing goes better.

Location: Boise, Idaho | Unless you buy a bunch of the Adamas lights on line for $.99 like we did a couple months ago, I'd go with the D'Addario, just because they are readily available here. I like them lots better than the Martin SPs. I need to get the Adamas on all my guitars soon, before I give them all away as Christmas presents. |

Location: closely held secret | Uh, what I was trying to say was, I believe the Adamas strings are the same strings as the D'Adds. Without the colored ends. Perhaps CWK2 knows for sure. |

12 years into playing, and still people ask me "what can I get you for christmas?" How many times, people: strings, strings, strings!
Have a good one, everyone. Stay smiling.

Location: 6 String Ranch | The Adamas strings used to be made with equal core and wrap and the equlivent D'Ad sets were a slightly larger core/smaller wrap. Don't know if they are still made this way. Frankly I use both and can't tell the difference. |

Location: Tennessee | I recently bought 20 sets of Adamas phosphor/bronze off eBay for a little over $50 shipped. Great deal on strings which sound just fine to me. |
