I have a Ovation guitar and case that I bought new in 1984. The model is 1985-5 and is #311. I also have all of the papers that came with it. Certificate of Authenticity as well. I would like to know what the value of thsi instrument is. How much is it worth? It is in perfect condition and has been well taken care of.
Thanks

The standard answer from some of these clowns will be: I'll give you $50 for it but you have to pay the shipping.

Honestly I don't know the value. However I used up the funny answer so the others will have to be serious.

Best thing to do is check ebay for completed sales. I think an 85 collectors sold at our GC awhile back for about $500 or $600, but it was pretty worn.

$400 is a reasonable starting point, but it might sell for considerably more. A lot of these were made, but ones in near perfect condition are much rarer. Original case and COA are definitly pluses.
