For instance...a Custom Elite was only made in Black Cherry Burst and is it possible someone could have had it specially ordered in another color. Thanks

It seems they will not allow the new technology out except on certain models. You can't order a lefty slothead elite LX with a VIP preamp. They don't have a left LX bowl in their lineup and the VIP only comes on the 06 collectors. You *should* be able to order an Elite LX in nutmeg with an Op50, without XLR, with chrome tuners if that is what you want. Call Al, tell him what you want. He will check with the factory. All custom orders have to go thru a dealer.

Dave PS - I guess you could always order a regular 1773 LX, a Custom Legend Contour Bowl, a tube of superglue, and return the unused parts for credit.

How much new interest do you think that draws and would it be worthwhile for the powers that be at the mothership to consider a similar promotion? Worthwhile? Or would it just drum up interest by those already sold on the brand? All thoughts welcomed...

To tell you the truth, I had never heard of Paragon and maybe that's the value of the contest. Sheer PR. Once I did, I made a sincere effort to find one to play. Way out of my pocket's range but I think it did accomplish something nonetheless. Hence, my question here. And, maybe, it's just a good promotion for a company trying to grow, not one that's as established Ovation...?
