Because the guy who posted the pix stated, "I have #001, the only one (of the 22 made) to carry a serial number. Originally bought by Bill Kaman (Ovation Guitars) at the '98, or maybe '99, NAMM show. One of 2 to have a walnut neck/fretboard. Resonant as hell - beautiful sounds. Don't play it more than 5 minutes a month so as to keep it in as-made condition.
