Can you send guitars back to Ovation for major repairs such as cracked tops or broken necks? Several people seem to have done this ("sent back to mothership..." etc) with good results. I'm assuming it's not cheap, but can you request a completely NEW top? Or the installation of a 'stock' pickup in a guitar that never had one? Or putting on a particular width of neck you like? I realize if you have enough $$, anything is possible, but just curious.

You can also have tops refinished and cracks repaired, necks reset, frets replaced, fretboards leveled, oil changed... ok, I made that last one up. But you get the idea.
