Joined: August 2006 Posts: 2804 Location: ranson,wva | i thopught the same thing, i play wityh heavy graphite picks. but i noticed that you hardty ever hit the top, and ive got a verry heavy right hand. it will hit the rossette before it will the top...the scratches in the rosette will buff right out.....jason | ||

If it were an $8,000 Olsen, or something else, I would reconsider just for the monetary value. Ovations are meant to be played though. If you must, get one of those temporary clear plastic stick-ons. Just look around on ebay or the web to find one with a black pickguard, and then try to keep your lunch down | ||
