So is anyone gonna jump in and buy one and give us a review?

I reckon someone here could knock one of them up out of 3mm plywood.

Hey, Miles. What about allowing members with, say 500 posts or more, to be able to delete/edit posts without the silly time limit?

OKAY!! I understood it the first four times! :(
And quit picking on us po' folks!

Personally, I have two wood boxes, and I find them uncomfortable.
I like being able to tilt my guitar up if I wanna.
I have no trouble standing with SSB, Artist-, or Mid-Depth. [No Deep-Bowl, Yet!]
I think that this is marketing a "Solution in search of a Problem".
[Has anyone out there bought that drug that gets rid of yellow toe-nails? SUCKER!]

Before I received my first round-back (4861) I bought a "Slip-Grip" thingie. I was swayed by the myth, that the sucka would slide onto the floor!
Don't really need that either! (don't wanna bother taking it off)

I think it's a stupid idea

one of the joys of playing an O standing up is the fact that there's no hard edge against your ribs

Standingovation wouldn't know what "impunes" means ...

But anyway, I think this thing is a brillient idea for two reasons.

1) I am always intrigued by inventions that change something into something else. Like that salt that you put on your popcorn and makes it taste like butter. Brillient.

2) Some people don't have problems with their ovations pointing at the stars, or maybe they like it that way. Ovation solved it with the Contour Bowl. But not everyone can afford to go out and buy a new guitar, so this is a great solution for those people.

I would not jump to the conclusion that it's a silly gimmick. I can still remember the day apprx. 35 years ago that I saw my first "fold-up, telescoping" umbrella. Totally stupid idea, I thought. Defeats the whole idea of being able to use your umbrella as a walking stick or cane. And it'll drive the makers of umbrella racks out of business.

I'd like to have a penny for every fold up umbrella that's been sold in the past 35 years.

OK, forget the plywood. Someone make one out of foam rubber then.
