Leave it to someone named Miles to think of remote in a sense other than in "miles" from anywhere. I agree that the word remote has multiple meanings and tend to think of it in terms of being a long way from "civilization", but my name isn't Miles. If his name was McDonald, I could understand where Miles was coming from.

And Lanaki, for being in such a remote location, you seem to be right with us. My wife seems to think Hawaii is right around the corner, but that's in terms of time. If I give up and agree to go to Hawaii this fall, I'll look you up. I know that's pretty threatening, but I'm relatively harmless.

Hawaii must be pretty remote. Who has seen a license plate from Hawaii?

My fly is open, warm, generous to a fault, and can bench press 4lbs.7oz. It is still disappointed it failed the 1971 Canadian Olympic team though it placed third in the Clean & Jerk.
