Looks like Hamer is being represented by a dealer who is showing multiple brands. Do you think they'll have a Hamer Newport on display? |

| Timing's everything, and mine's all wrong for this. I have to be in Ft Lauderdale for a conference in 2 weeks, otherwise I'd try to make it. I just can't justify - nor do I really want to - making the drive down and back twice in such a short span. |

It was interesting, mostly high end hand builts. Most seem aimed at the fingerstylests. Everyone is trying to be ground breaking and introduce new things and in the end they are all pretty close to the same.
Pretty figured woods, wooden bindings, sound ports, 45* angles for your right arm, very intricate inlays and endless discussions about what are the best tone woods. I am not dissing them, this is their sandbox. It is a great display of what's available out there. I got my Tippin at that show. If you've never been you should go. |
