Gotta say these folks have Killah Customer service. I placed an internet order for a PA system and within 2 hours, a rep called to tell me what I wanted was on back-order and wouldn't be available until after the date I needed it...

So he sets me up with an (better) alternative which would have been hundreds (that's HUNDRED*S*) more than the set-up I originally ordered, for the same cost. Same guy called me back twice to make sure I was ok with the package he was setting up...

A+, boys.

well, that's better than samash which sent me the wrong thing, which was not only wrong but broken. Now that's customer service.

I've had excellent service from Sweetwater, and they have damn good prices too. I have my "own" Sales Engineer ... the guy calls me every once in a while just to check in. I stopped by their facility in Ft. Wayne, IN when I was on other business there, and it is an awesome place. They've set up World-class recording studios ... check 'em out if you get a chance. Good outfit.

But no match for Al. ;)

Fantastic. LMFAO (and I never use those stupid abbreviations either). One of the best lines I've caught off here in a while, Al. For some crazy reason I'm envsioning Al doing the MC Hammer (Hamer?) shuffle complete with parachute pants...""You can't touch dis"...in front of a stymied JW. Good job, Al.

You need to get your "envisioning" equipment in for service. Real soon.

Jeff,

did Sweetwater tell you the reason the other unit was on backorder was because Al hadn't shipped over enough used pizza boxes to adequately pack it up and send it out to you????

it was just a joke guys. as many of you know if you call me and i am in the mood it is hard to get me off the phone. I could not supply jeff with what he wanted and I am glad he found it from a place that took good care of him. although I try I know I can't do it all.

I got a Sweetwater catlog a while back. I've never ordered anything (yet), but I called them with a tech question, and I've since been called back 3 or 4 times by my "own" rep just to see if I need anything. That's UNHEARD OF nowadays. That's real customer service.
