I'm going to be parting out a Custom Legend, and will have some parts available if anyone is interested. I know the bowl is in good shape, not sure about the electronics, but the knobs and everything are there. Origonal keys are in great shape, also. The neck seems to be straight, but has a piece missing on the headstock, and has a good bit of fret wear. The old case isn't very pretty, but the interior is fine, and the latches work. If anyone is looking for parts, let me know. The guitar was made in the 80's. Not sure of the exact year, but I can check.

Glenn, the outer shell is good, but the backing is not.

Just out of curiosity, how do you get a rosette off without damaging it? MWoody?

I think there was a thread on how to install a rosette in that condition.

how many abalone tiles are missing/broken? I've used other altternatives before.. and mwoody might still have a couple tiles available.

There's probably about 1/4 of the pieces missing. The outside isn't broken anywhere, though. I may have some pieces somewhere, but I will have to check.

I've never done it intentionally but I've had the rosettes knocked loose on a couple guitars that came off intact.. or only missing a tile or two.

then comes the fun part of scraping the old adhesive off the top, and the rosette.. before you can re-attach.

I'm taking any reasonable offers, Jason. Quiet a bit of fret wear on the first few frets. The binding is not the greatest, and is cracked in several places. Finish is pretty nice, but one ear of the headstock has a piece missing. The nut is good, and the inlays look fine.

Well, I've sold most of the parts, but still have the battery box, pre-amp with tone/volume knobs, and the input jacks, if anyone is interested. I can't say positively that it works, but looks fine. The bowl is O.K. also.
