Now that i've spent a few days with the guitar, I am pretty impressed with it. When I received it, I posted my concerns about some possible humidity issues it had. There was some top belly, and the fret ends were pretty rough. I'm still humidifying, and it seems to be slowly improving. Other than that, and some minor fret wear, it looks brand new. Pretty amazing for a thirty year old guitar. Soundwise, it's everything that I hoped it would be. Loud and balanced overall, and the bass is good, but not overly pronounced. I would say that compared to my old 1117 Legend, the tone is a little less warm, not as bassy. It's noticeably lighter in weight, probably due to having a truss rod, instead of the Legend's Kaman Bar. I really like the old deep bowl Legends, and I'm hoping to find a Custom Legend sometime in the future.

Lanaki,I have a daughter older than this beauty, but the older ones are usually hard to get, or have large cracks. In the top, I mean.
