Location: Stow, Ohio | Well here is my Takamine
It's a Takamine GX-100 Solid body with neck thru construction. Yup, Takamine made Solid Bodies in the 80's for about 5 minutes.
This is the second one I have owned, the first I had when I was in the USMC back in the 80's, it was cream colored. I got this one off Ebay for $185.00 and since it was an hour away I picked it up and paid for it in person.
pickups are the original Dimarzios.
Has a narrow neck and action to die for.
If you see any Takamine Solid bodies one Ebay, try one, they are great guitars. definately a treat to have.

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | I owned on of those.....screaming metal guitar with a lightning fast neck. I think the pics are still in my OFC gallery.
Unfortunately, I sold it to Glenn for his kid and the delivery wagon broke the neck to where it become unfixable. Kinda sad....it was a great guitar for what it was.
I also owned the 200 and the 300 series but did not like them nearly as much. |

I put a Washburn Wonder Bar on my first one. the trem would be worth more than the guitar now if I still had it.
It's funny, I put the Takamine in my Exploere case and it looks so small! |

| The cooltube is great - on jW's Hirade it's quite superb. Easily the best piezo nylon sound, good as my Country Artist is. |
