Would you folks tell me the parts name of guitar, specially Ovation?
Sometimes it's confusing to recognize which is which, for instance, neck and fret board.
What  do we call the part of the string bound for tuning?
Where can I get the information about parts name of Os?

G'day Jazz. Most acoustic guitars have basically the same or very similar parts....neck, headstock, nut, bridge, saddle, etc.

There's plenty of web sites out there that have detailed pictures of this sort of stuff but none of them come to mind at the moment.

You could try Google or wait until someone more informative than me answers your question.

I reckon this stuff is good to know. The first time I heard someone talking about the nut on his guitar I thought he was talking about himself :D

I know these two books are in english, but they will help you understand your guitar:

1)Dan Erlewine's:Guitar Player Repair Guide
2)The Guitar Handbook by Ralph Denyer.

There may be a japanese version of Hideo Kamimoto's book Complete Guitar Repair, that will have a lot of this info.

Sorry, I don't know any Japanese books.

As for what you call the part of the string bound for tuning, there must be a name, I don't know it. Once it's tied, you'd call it a knot, before it's tied, I call it the "end of the string"

The end of a shoelace is called an aglet.
