And on another note, I was checking out Daves' Tak site and see several new owners listed. This puts the tally at about 10 of these owned by OFC members. Incredible. Dave

It was a medium pub sized PA with stage monitors. I was told the guitar sounded really good. Someone suggested I play more instrumentals, not sure what THAT meant ... Dave

No problems with feedback as long as all the stuff was set right and I wasn't in front of a speaker, all the usual stuff. The only bitch I have is there is no volume control so I have to rely on the sound guy. Debanjo usues a volume pedal with his, not a bad idea. To answer the question, the holes are not plugged.

It's about 2 inches long with a 1/4 male on one end and a 1/4 female hole jack on the other. There's a little "thumbwheel" volume knob on it. You plug it into your endpin, then plug the cable into the other end of it, and you've got a volume knob right there. Dave

I can control what I hear which is really all I care about. The sound guy knows what he is doing and I trust he is getting it right. His only complaint is the bass player's volume (who also uses his bass amp as a stage monitor).

It does make another piece of gear you have to carry. Dave, thanks for the idea of the endpin jack. I may get one or a volume pedal, either one can get thrown into the breifcase size "gig-bag" that carries the cords, extra strings strap etc.
