nice... be ready & be careful... that thing is a cannon. Be aware of where you are pointing it and always assume that there is a round in the chamber.

e-bay?
intra-OFC adoption?
Or did you find one of the last new ones out there??

I have adopted the UTE from Brother Stephent28. My wife recalled me talking about the UTE whrn I got my 1778 LX and was great about alowing me to purchase it from Stephen. I never thought I would see a 681 let alone own one. I will be sure to register/transfer it from Stephen (I guess we can do this) and I promise not to point it at anyone!

Oh my Gosh!!!!!!!!!! I've read all the reviews and posts but the E M chord I played is still ringing around my band room. My jazz band guitarist also played the UTE so I could listen to it from the front WOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! Gotta go play "Melissa" and "If I Had a Hammer" ..........

wtw... that was my reaction as well.
Just wait... in a few weeks you'll grow less intimidated by the booom! Then you'll see what happens when you really spank it!

If this is the sound of dead strings I'm not sure if I can handle a new set. Stephen, I love the sound, looks and feel of the UTE. Yes I am very pleased.

It sounds very bassy when you're playing it, but when you sit on the other side and listen, it really projects from lows to highs. It has great balance and is "crisp" on every note. It doesn't correct my mistakes, though. That's the only criticism I could make of the guitar.

She doesn't correct them, she just points them out and reminds me of everyone I made. Amazing memory!
