Not just a luggage tag, an OFC slothead luggage tag to go on my OFC slothead case (when it arrives.... when is it arriving?). Please note that my guitar is #3 of 12. Next, the strap. Al out did himself with this one. As most of you know, the slotheads (originals, #47 RI's and the OFC slots) didn't have strap buttons on the shoulder. They had rings mounted on the heel of the neck. How to attach a strap to the ring is a problem. Take a look at this... He had the strap constructed so that it could use the nifty little attachment hook. Brillant. And if you like another hook better, it's just all tied together so it can come apart if needed. I love it! It's a great, soft strap as well. Very comfortable and very long. Because I was such a PITA and wanted to play my guitar out, Al sent me the prototype strap. I am a happy camper.....

I was just playing No. 5 last evening wondering about that ring attachment. I have a standard strap (albeit, an OFC model) now attached. The ring through the standard strap button hole works, but looks mismatched. This is a great solution.

If the OFC strap wasn't coming, I would have spent the money to buy a good strap. I'm glad I waiting. Having a strap made for that specific guitar is very cool....

Now due to arrive the 27th. Maybe this tracking of shipments isn't such a good idea. (Stare at the computer, yelling, "Come on. Put it on the truck!")

We all knew the strap was gorgeous yet functional for the upper ring type strap tab, but I want to comment on the luggage tag. First, the shape is a subtle likeness of the shape of the OFC guitar top (and many other models for that matter). Second, the tag is larger than it appears in the pic. The length is 5 inches and the width is 3-1/4". It is much more substantial than you might first expect. I have a few cases (not Ovation) that would fall apart long before this tag would give out. Thanks again, Al, for making this possible.
