Location: Paris/France | Marcel was playing that guitar on stage in november 1979 at the "Palais des Glaces" in Paris so I assume it was built in the late 70's.
It belongs now to a french collector who lives in east of France (near Tom's house).
I'm sure that Remy has played it in the past and maybe he will be able to tell us more...

Location: Angoulême - France | You are right Jerome, I played on it years ago, (the first time was 1981 with Marcel in Angers and the last 1991 in Issoudun) and a friend of mine bought it to Marcel around 1985. I just know that tuners are not the original but were changed, so don't care about tuners. This 1689 guitar is a beauty and for me the best of Marcel's guitar (except perhaps the #37 but I never heard or played it). Somebody said that it was the sister of my adamas, my adamas is #519 and 1978, I think Lilas came in 1979 ? Tom for the next : the label !!! Marcel : peace !!! Jerome : thanks for sharing !!! |
