The websites where I used to get tabs are shut down for copyright issues. I don't mind paying but I want the right kind of tab - not musical notes on the staff.

My cross-the-hall neighbor stopped in to ask something. As she was leaving, she asks "How many more of them are you gonna get?" (guitars) People say to me "Nice Guitar!" Not as many say "Play me a song" :(

Well we had a Halloween party for the employees and someone showed up with a karaoke machine whereby I got to hear one of the cooks sing it, completely drunk of course. Anyway, it gave me an idea of what it was supposed to sound like and now I do it different every time too! Maybe someday I'll hear the original...

Joined: June 2007 Posts: 100 Location: Delaware | Thanks guys. As part of recent nut/saddle work on a Carlo Robelli mini-6 string that I've been dinking around with, I recorded my early, crude cover of Simple Man after a good week's work on the tune. Keep in mind that I was nervous playing to the mic and also playing with a pick to get better pick up and I never play with a pick. So, those are my excuses for flubbing it up and really botching the Am and G chords at the end. Anyway, you can hear my first chop at it at www.mytowntennis.com/guitar.htm This is a page where I post photos and clips to support forum topics like this one and some from another guitar forum I belong to. I'm still working on Simple Man and enjoying every minute! Have a long way to go but the journey is quite satisfying! Next - Dust in the Wind, Wish You Were Here... that kind of stuff!
