There's a beautiful view of Lake Ponemah behind us (and a beautiful car, which is not mine). The waitresses all all hot babes, but no pics of them - sorry. Here I am playing my Blue Floral Telecaster: ![]()

We've been trying t'get a foot in the door of this place for a couple years, and the guy FINALLY calls us out-of-the-blue & books us . . . the Sunday afternoon of LaborDay weekend  Hopefully, we won't get rained-out . . .

Some of my friends had this very model. I even had one myself, a '56 Bel Air 2-door hardtop that I bought for $100 just for the engine, then junked the remainder the car. Oh, sorry. Nice location for a gig for sure.

I started out playing my Ovation for this gig, and the OP24+ preamp has officially died. I plugged 'er in and... silence. Tried it again today at home... same thing. So, now what good is a thin crust Celebrity with no working electronics??? I don't need to tell YOU guys what I think about that guitar acoustically
