The saddle on my CP2001 has several extra grooves. I contacted Ovation and they kindly sent me a new saddle at no charge. The new saddle has no grooves in it. Is this normal?

in the above example, however, the strings were created to fit the grooves.


edited for a second thought: some strings on this model will create grooves. groovy!
