Any idea how the VXT is doing (sales)? Have not heard too much about it since the initial splash. Any members here own one?

David, a rhetorical question? How would we know? If we (OFC) weren't buyers in mass, "they" (aka Factory) would never tell us.

What I meant was 1) who here has bought one, 2) do you hear any buzz from others, 3) do them seem popular in the shops, etc. I have very little exposure to electric guitars so I don't always pick up on the 'vibe'. I'm hoping of course that the VXT does well for the company. I think a few people might have ordered customs, but I'm not sure. Dave

Jeff can take a nap anywhere, anytime. Fred was just about to check for a pulse.

It can have a certain soporific effect when the subject is properly pre-medicated.

(Isn't it odd that I seem to always look a bit tired in OFC Tour pictures? I can't imagine why that is.)

I see the VXT getting some very favorable reviews in some of the guitar rags.

Perhaps this will encourage Ovation to perhaps flesh out the electric line a little more in the future with a couple of dedicated electrics (I hate hybrids). I would think that offering a couple of reissue models is also not totally out of the question either.

Ooops. Hit the tab and enter key by accident. Maybe I should learn to type. A colleague at work much younger than myself, is very excited about it. He showed me a review and is looking forward to picking one up. He has already taken one for a test ride and loved it. Currently, he's playing a nice Gibson but likes the ability to add acoustic tones.

I've really toyed with getting one...I just need to justify playing more electric first, which I'm really not doing right now.

The last time I was in a GC a couple months ago, they only had one in stock and it wasn't even on the main floor...way up high in the acoustic room (doy!). The sales gal in there seemed to think they'd sold a few of them already.
