Hello,

It's not common to see an ADAMAS NYLON STRING and this one is simply wonderful!!
Cedar Top, built in 1995 and probably a custom order.

It has been sold in Japan and I've found the picures by surfing on the web.

Does anybody knows anything about this model???

J :)

I wonder what sound the cedar top produces with nylon strings. This one is really a beauty !!

It's not really an Adamas, more of an Elite style Country Artist with an Adamas logo and Adamas II inlays on the walnut fretboard. Obviously a custom order. I doubt if the acoustic sound would be all that great. This is more of a stage guitar....

Be prettier if it had a round round hole.

I believe it's the carved CustomLegend TRC.

I personally find 'em gaudy, but that's just me . . .

I dunno if they can be ordered.

I'm not sure it's the same guitar.
The other one is a 1537 Nylon string and this one has a Country Artist headstock with an Adamas logo.

I think it's a different guitar but definately the same vintage. Not that I know a bunch about these but it should be closer to 85 than 95.
The looks outweigh the preformance.

Right you are Jerome, they are all starting to look alike to me now. One does have the A logo and the other does have the O logo. It's strange some of the things that sneak out of the factory at night....I keep mine locked up so they don't start wandering the streets. :D

The earlier Elite nylon string has a full classical neck on it, 12 frets to the body, and the neck at the nut looks like it's a full 2". The more recently posted guitar is 14 frets to the body and has a CA neck on it.

I'd be happy to give a string winding class to whoever owns this guitar as well as anyone else who might be interested: maybe at the next tour? Woz and several others suggested it last May while restringing Woz's 1688 and others have expressed interest since then...my technique is quick, looks great, and holds a tuning w/no slippage.
As to this guitar, well, variety is the spice of life...or so they say...

Mike, I agree in the winding thing. Ya know, it's not rocket science to make it look nice and work correctly. I guess it's not a priority to some folks. Man, I'd hate to let them loose with a fishing reel without a level wind feature. :D
