Check the archives, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just an even cheaper Chinese version of the MOB, which was universally hated, especially by certain members of this board. How come the "Applause/Ocean" version of the "Celebrity/Tangent/Surf Board" guitar suddenly becomes cool????? I owned and gigged with a shallow bowl MOB set up for slide for a year or so. Decent guitar for the dough, but everyone here absolutely despised them wth a passion.

Paul, yes this is the cheaper version of the MOB. Kooreen made. But you gots to put it in perspective. Under $200. I've paid more than that in sales tax on some guitars. I'm putting in a pickup and this'll be my gigging guitar just in case I ever do get a gig. Or, I can just pull it out from under the bed and sniff the resin. Dave

And the the Headstock ain't the Tangent 2-4, which I don't really care for.. But, of course, how it sounds is the important thing. As long as it sounds Good... Good! Two quick points on appearance and lack of taste... I got a beat-up 1112 that sounds real nice... but looks like effluent. And I used to think that them Blue Adami were ugly, until I played one. Now if I ever get an Adamas, it will be that yucky blue color. So much for my judgment on appearance... :p
