Back in 2000 or so a co-worker and I were discussing "what will become of...." and of course Britney's name came up along with other pop stars of the day. I said I didn't think she would be able to make the transition from jailbait sex symbol to adult sex symbol.

I didn't think she'd turn into white trash in the process though.

I'm wondering what Britney did to deserve all this grief, it's not like she actually went out with Cliff.

personally, i like britney.
I don't like her music, but i like to listen to her voice.
I think she is in situation where she is, because people around her are pigs. it's sad, because probable she don't have even one true friend. every person she meets, sells news about her to newspapers etc.
i think if she would really get a chance to live normal life, she'd be good mother, and - probably - in years she would develop long lasting career like celine dion. but since she married to this... Kevin Fendersomething she is on her way down. i hope someone will help her, not looking at her wallet and - equally important - not looking at her as Britney Spears, pop icon, but as a young woman, human who needs help

I've seen the pics of coconut bras and grass skirts; this girl ain't got nothin' to be ashamed of!

Ok, ok, maybe a few things( :) ), but she ain't the only one in this world!

Cut her some slack, that was a gutsy thing to do. And I think she should be applauded for showing all the young women they should be proud of the way they are. That was a big thumb to the nose against the typical Hollywood stereo type of what beauty is.

Good for her!

Dave

In 10 years, this will be the 'fall from grace' part of her story on the biography channel. By then I'm betting she'll be back, slimmer and hotter than ever.
