| There's a stacked tone/vol preamp for sale on ebay (item# 230168924228). Might this fit a 1978 model 1624? These preamps are hard to find, nobody makes 'em anymore... |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | It should fit, and if you get it for that price you're not out much if it's DOA.
I bought a brand new one from the factory (it's the one that comes in the Glen Campbell RI, I'm pretty sure). Put it in my 1621, almost perfect fit. More expensive than the one in the ebay auction, but you know it will work. |

| I also had a 1621 in the early days..If a new one fits your 1621 then it will fit the 1624 I guess,..how much was it?....I really wanted to keep mine all original, plus it's a sunburst and the finish is still as glossy as the day I bought it... |
