 | Recently scored a great deal on a CC65 Celebrity 12-string electric/acoustic. It resides on the 12-string wall of my studio along with three other 12s. I am loving the sound and action of the CC65, and getting used to the round bowl back. I have seen images online of folks who have put tape on the backs of the bowl-backed guitars to keep them from slipping around. I'd hate to mess up the back with sticky tape, etc., so does anyone have suggestion for stabilizing the guitar during playing? Also, is there a way to find a guitar's production date from the serial number? Mine is 0394822. Thanks for the addition to the club! |

 | As to the slipping bowl-back... Traction Tape. Just a small piece. But buy a whole roll... You will find other uses for it.
