| I bought a like-new Celebrity CE44P-KOA a short time ago.
I finally pulled the saddle to remove shims, but there was only the white one installed. I took it out, restrung, but I didn't get the strings quite as low as I would like. I have enough relief, but the low E is still 3/32 high at the 12 fret. Is there another remedy to get me another 1/32 lower? Maybe change the 11's for 10's?
Thanks for the the help. |

Location: Katmandu | 11s are already very light strings for an acoustic. Apart from sanding down the plastic saddle as a last resort (probably from the top due to the pickup) and perhaps double-checking that the nut action is low enough, make sure the neck is as straight as you can get it without buzzing, with only just the slightest bit of neck relief remaining.
