| just realised it this "slight" error makes it easier :D
so two models to chose from:
1778LX-5
CC44-HB
by monday I'll probably place my order for one of these... |

Money not being a factor, and your choice is between a 1778LX-5 or a CC44-HB, go with the 1778LX-5. USA Made, OPPro preamp, lovely black finish (same as mine).

| Just to clarify, money is always a factor:), but it comes down to this: if I can make a deal with the shop owner so that I make him a new web presentation and a tv commercial and in return he sells me 1778LX for ~500 bucks, now that woud be ok if not I'll buy cc44 because I cant wait cse44 for three months it's too much...
...and later on I'll buy 1778LX :D
another question, so far Im guessing what GAS is but...
still I thought I ask :) |

Location: Round Rock, TX | Guitar (or Gear) Acquisition Syndrome. I have two contour bowl guitars and two mid-depth bowl LX's, including the 1778LX. I agree with BigginJIM, in that I can't seem to get rid of that 1778LX. I also love that contour bowl. Buy that 1778LX if your a multi-soundhole/epaulets kind of guy (like me) or get the C2077LX if you favor a center soundhole. Save yourself from regretting what might have been. |

Location: Warren,Pa. | The things that will make a BIG difference in the 2078 are the contour bowl (bigger sound than the mid-depth 1778) and the XLR-out.
What matters for looks-only are the pearl buttons (you can eventually get Ebony), and lots of abalone.
I assume they both come with the OpPro.

I would email them to make sure that it has an OP30, since it doesn't say so... Just to be sure.
I got my CC44 from these people... Then they refunded 10% of my money cuz I found a crack in the case. (no photos or nuthin', I just told them)
Anyway, if you want a CSE44HB, (with 5yr warranty) they got one.
Then you can get the LX later. |

| btw is the sound that better on 2078LX than 1778LX I need an oppinion from someone who compared the two in person:)
btw GAS is rather contageous around OFC!!!
I've been hanging around OFC for a week now with intention to find out which guitar to buy CSE44 or CC44, and look at me now, week latter I'm discussing 2078LX & 1778LX... :eek: :D |
