I had the chance to play one in a music store in Frankfurt and it was a wonderful sounding instrument. I prefer it to the other anniversary reissues. Karl

Where did you get the guitar ?? , i was desparate to try a custom legend but nowhere round our neck of the woods stocked them , went to Frailers in Runcorn and they had a few baladeers but nowhere else seemed to stock US ovations , hope you enjoy the new guitar

Andrea, you might find Paul Templeman of some assistance... as he is well versed in the music scene in "northern" England... any trouble he causes beyond that, well, I just can't be held responsible.... If you keep your eyes peeled, rumour (ya like that, doncha?) has it, there may well be a black Custom Legend appearing on ebay-UK in the very near future.

Also will be posing question to you shortly on main board .....be afraid ....very afraid

Andrea - I have a mint Black Custom Legend shallow bowl which is available at a ridiculous price. PM if you're interested - it'll be cheaper than lugging one back from the states. To all brits - don't go with the idiots who say they'll call it a $200 gift to avoid duty and vat. Do you really think the excise people are that dumb? And you are an equally guilty party. You have to go to the customs depot to pay the taxes before you csan collect it - it's a little harder than ticking the wrong box online.
