I guess it can be an OP 24+/+C if they are the same dimensions...
Here is a pic of my Mothership-modified OP 24 install:
Thank you! | ||

Someone else might need it down the road. 2wheeldrummer - Yes, I saw that too. However, there are no dimension info on that website. Are all the OP 24's the same size?

I think it was set up to communicate with the factory, so we can't respond. Anyway, the 24+ is just a bit longer, maybe 1/8 inch. It shouldn't be too difficult to cut the hole bigger, if necessary.

Worst case scenario, I'm checking with Mike Piera "analogmike" to see if he will do the repair... Edited by BillÆ 2019-05-15 2:44 PM

The top was maple(very pale) with a red-white-blue binding...
Apparently, it was made as an endorsement instrument.
The deal fell through and they just added it to the inventory. Then I walked in...
The Model is: 2718-4 W/ serial # 48xxxx - Yeah, 2718, not 1718...
I'll check out that group in FB. A certain amazing person on here is looking too...
Thanks! Edited by BillÆ 2019-05-17 10:00 AM

The mount is glued to the inside of the bowl and the pre-amp is bolted to the mount. To remove the pre-amp, gently lift the thin plastic face plate from the front of the amp. It's stuck down with pressure-sensitive adhesive. Under it, you'll find 4 screws. Remove these screws and the front circuit board can be unplugged and the pre-amp removed from the inside of the mount. Be sure to support the pre-amp as you loosen the screws so it doesn't fall out.
