Location: North Wales | I'm sure somewhere on here there's a topic on spotting who's seen who playing an Ovation, but I couldn't find it.
Just found a Leonard Cohen track on YouTube, and he's playing an Ovation. For anybody who wants to have a look, here's the link:

He's singing [sic] Famous Blue Raincoat, but I don't recognise the Ovation Model, but it sounds like an E/A one. |

| It's not a country artist, it's one of the original Ovation classical models with the extra fret at the sound hole. Remember those?.. |

Location: NJ | I thought it was Spanish Pine (or is/was that a euphemism for Cedar?). |

Location: Boise, Idaho | You're right, Cliff. Spanish pine is another name for cedar. For some reason the 1613s were the Spanish pine guitars and the 1713s were the cedar. I don't know how or why they decided there was a difference. |

Don't go home with your hard on. I'm curious, in the states most people learn about cohen because they are either in orbit of nyc, or the orbit of country / bluegrass music. How do people in wales learn about him? |
