Joined: April 2006 Posts: 972 Location: PDX | That is what my stereo output sounds like. What's up with that? I have an O with both a stereo and a mono output jack, both only sound every other string when plugged in. Has anybody had this problem and how is it fixed? Thanks. _____ gh1

I've panicked twice on this issue when I plugged a turner into the stereo jack of the 1537, then the OFC and couldn't get the tuner to pick up 3 strings. My eyes don't see the little print next to the jacks and my brain doesn't remember.

I've got to get the guitar over to him and I'll let you know what he says. Mono is always the inboard plug...

On the jack(s) there are contacts that make other connection paths when the plug is inserted. They are little contact points on the jack assembly itself. You may need to clean them to make correct contact. I would check the battery first though.

But he says hes having a problem with his stereo output, not the mono.. and just that it sounds like "this" - the post title, which I don't know what it means, but looks like each set of alternating strings... on the stereo set up, it looks correct. The mono output only picks up all 6 strings until the other plug is connected. :confused:Brainslag, the mono jack is supposed to pick up all 6 strings.

Maybe I'll take some pictures and save the old one to use when I advertise it as an extremely rare guitar on Ebay. Just in case 11 of 12 isn't good enough.
